This photo was one that was developed by the Film Soup people when they existed – they are long gone now. It was taken with a 6x9 fixed lens Fuji medium format camera, that chewed through film – one would only get eight frames per roll. The camera went in the massive cleanout of 2020. All these were shot with fuji velvia.

I know you can get these effects in post processing of film, but in my view if you are shooting digital you should not apologize for that. Velvia is velvia. The problem is now sourcing it, getting it developed and then scanning and printing it.  If you are doing a lot, you need something like a jobo or a filmomat, which are difficult to keep going in the antipodes. This is one of the reasons I have gone completely digital.
